Alyssa came to Flipside to record a professional demo that would help her catch the attention of producers and directors looking for something special...
Thankfully Alyssa WAS the something special and all we had to do was capture it. After some playing around with ideas of how we were going to capture the right sound for her, we settled on a live accompanying pianist instead of backing tracks.
A great vocalist has natural tone, good technique and determination of steel. Alyssa has all that and more, and it wasn't long until we had it all in the bag. A touch of reverb and the tracks sounded pretty special.
On listening back, we're pretty confident Alyssa has got a bright future in Musical Theatre, and we wish her every success. Hopefully she'll pop back some time too. We certainly can't wait to work with her again!
